Recently, the Automotive Steel Room of Angang Corporation's Technology Center successfully developed high-strength hot-rolled coil AG750DK for new energy commercial vehicle battery frames. After processing and use by a well-known domestic enterprise, the core performance indicators such as yield strength and tensile strength of the product meet the requirements, successfully breaking through in the field of new energy commercial vehicle materials and injecting new vitality into the company's special steel transformation. The vigorous development of new energy commercial vehicles has put forward strict requirements for battery frame materials. The battery frame not only needs to have sufficient strength to withstand various complex working conditions and protect battery safety, but also has excellent molding performance. With keen market insight and a strong sense of mission, the Technology Center quickly assembled an elite R&D team of professionals from multiple fields such as materials science, rolling technology, and automation control, and launched a charge towards the R&D highland of AG750DK hot-rolled coil.

The 1780 production line of the second refining and rolling operation department played a pivotal role in this research and development, providing a solid hardware foundation for the research and development work. Technicians rely on this production line to optimize the chemical composition of materials and accurately mix the proportions of various alloy elements. While ensuring the high strength of the material, it cleverly enhances its toughness, endowing AG750DK with a "inner temperament" that combines rigidity and flexibility.

In the exploration of rolling technology, the technical team is facing numerous challenges such as high deformation resistance and difficulty in controlling dimensional accuracy caused by high-strength materials. They relied on their unwavering perseverance and innovative wisdom to find the optimal rolling path through repeated experiments and fine tuning of key parameters such as temperature, speed, and pressure, ensuring the stability and high precision of the steel plate during the rolling process. In the cooling process, technicians are as meticulous as carving art pieces, and after countless simulations and practical verifications, they have determined the ideal cooling speed and method. This key step is like coating AG750DK with a uniform and stable "outer layer", making its internal organizational structure uniform and dense, and achieving perfect balance of various properties.
